Library memberships is free and open to everyone - whether you live, work or play on the Central Coast. As members, you’ll enjoy access to books, eBooks, movies, events, creative spaces and more across the Central Coast branches.
How to join the library
- It’s free and easy to join.
- Residents and non-residents who works or visit the Central Coast are welcome.
- Apply online or visit any Central Coast Library branch.
- Under 16? A parent or legal garden must sign you up.
Library@YourTime at Central Coast Council Libraries
This automated, self-access service is now available at multiple Central Coast Council Library branches. Benefit from extends access to library facilities, even during unstaffed hours. The service is available at:
- Bateau Bay Library
- Kariong Library
- Kincumber Library
- Toukley Library
- Gosford Regional library (TBC)
FAQs
- Borrow up to 20 items plus 10 eLibrary items.
- Loan time is up to three week for most items and one week for fast reads, fast flicks and magazines.
- Borrowed and return items at any Central Coast Council Library branch.
- Reserve items for free through the library catalogue.
- Manage your library account online – renew loans, place holds and more.
- After hours returns available at all Library branches via return chutes.
- People visiting the Central Coast can become temporary members. Membership lasts for 12 months and you can borrow up to 10 items. Join online or in branch.
