Children's Programs and Events

Central Coast libraries have a variety of literacy programs for children and youth of all ages.

Our early literacy preschool programs run during school term only. During school holidays branches run holiday programs for school aged children.

We have a variety of programs for school age children which run after school, during school terms and in the school holidays. For home-schooled children some programs are held during school hours.

Please note: All children under 12 years of age must be supervised during these events.

Pre-school age programs

  • Babytime is a special program of songs, rhymes and simple stories for infants aged from 0 to 24 months. It provides a fun session of songs, rhymes and an opportunity to read with your baby.
