Learn the basics of how to play the classic game of Mahjong with Kate Myers and her team of volunteers.
Over two sessions, you will be introduced to this fascinating and fun game, playing several guided games at tables of four and assisted by a volunteer tutor. You will also receive a handout to take home.

About Mahjong
Mahjong is a game played with tiles and has a history of hundreds of years originally from China. There are many versions, and this group will be learning the Australian version, in a non-competitive, friendly, gently paced learning environment. Develop strategic thinking skills, improve your short-term memory and enjoy an opportunity for social engagement. Friendships have been formed over the Mahjong tables with this established group who emphasise inclusiveness and fun in a welcoming environment.
