Inter Library Loans and Multicultural Language Boxes

Requests for both individual items (published more than twelve months ago and not available in the collection) and for Multicultural Language Boxes in certain languages can be made at any branch of the Central Coast Library Service, for a set fee.

How to make a request

Please ask the staff at your local branch for the relevant costs of an Inter Library Loan, as per Council’s current Fees and Charges, and they will complete the form on your behalf as you make the request. There is no charge for Multicultural Language Boxes. 

Notes:

  • To request an Inter Library Loan for an individual item please try to have as much available information as possible concerning the details of the publication(s).
  • Multicultural Language Boxes are available in a range of languages from the State Library of NSW. Please see Library staff for the current list.

How long will it take?

Delivery of items is dependent on a number of factors, including the accuracy of the details provided, location of the item, availability and the time spent in transit. Usually, requests are satisfied within Australia in a period of between five and twenty working days.
